Weather and climate in the Rhône Valley

The Rhône Valley has a varied climate that changes depending on where you are in the valley. In the area around Lyon, spring and autumn are often pleasant with mild temperatures, while summer can be hot. Further south towards Provence, the climate becomes more Mediterranean with drier, sunnier and warmer weather.
